Founder: Jean Tardy-VallernaudJean Tardy-Vallernaud's career as a financial services executive spanned the past thirty years, and included international banking, U.S. and international private banking and investment management -- with such world-class institutions as Bankers Trust Company, The Citigroup Private Bank, First Interstate Bank, Bank Julius Baer, and Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild.

His positions have been based in New York, London, Paris, and in Los Angeles, where he has lived for the past 20 years.

His clients have ranged from European governments and multinational corporations, to professionals and other affluent individuals and families - in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

He is recognized for his "trusted adviser" approach to his client relationships. His ability to deal effectively with the needs of the globally oriented investor sets him apart from most other advisers.

He is active in the domestic and international communities, and particularly well introduced among high-quality professionals who can complement the services offered by his practice. He is a member of the worldwide Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Treasurer of its Los Angeles Branch. He serves on the Executive Committee and on the Board of the Century City Chamber of Commerce and is Chair of its Arts & Cultural Affairs Council. He was nominated to the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2004, where he serves on the Executive Committee, and he sits on the Investment Committee of Cedars- Sinai's Board of Directors. He is a founding Board member of the Century City Foundation.

He has served as Director of Public Counsel Law Center and of the Los Angeles Library Foundation. He contributed to the Los Angeles Philharmonic as a member of its Touring Committee and Treasurer of its Business & Professional Committee.

A native of France, Mr. Tardy-Vallernaud is also a U.S. citizen. He completed his graduate education with a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He is a Registered Investment Advisor with a Series-65 certification.
