| As a private adviser, our purpose is to serve in the management of the affairs of the wealthy, especially in the areas where we can apply our unique strengths. What we call "Family Office" services are completely individualized and opportunistic, and offered as part of our total client relationship - there is no compensation for Gainsborough Capital. |
| Our experience has brought us access to best-of-class professional providers, in the U.S. and overseas, in a number of specialty areas, products or services often sought by wealthy individuals and families. |
| We are also very current with issues facing "cross-border" families: foreign nationals in the U.S., individuals and families with multiple-country residencies, U.S. residents with foreign ancestry or relatives established overseas, U.S. entrepreneurs with global business interests... |
| A representative sample of our personal and transactional "Family Office" services would include the following areas: |
- Introductions and referrals to professional counselors in various fields:
- legal and tax, including estate planning
- accounting
- education
- Special access to recognized participants in the art and collectibles markets, especially in the U.S.
- Residential real estate investing as part of one's overall wealth diversification strategy:
- for U.S. real estate held by residents or non-residents, we enjoy access to non-conventional sources of large mortgage financing
- conversely, Gainsborough Capital is in a position to help wealthy U.S. residents in sourcing and acquiring residential real estate overseas
- we have also assisted absentee owners in securing property and/or staff management specialists.
- As an integral part of its approach to relationships, Gainsborough Capital will offer its clients preferred access to all transaction opportunities which may be compatible with their wealth building strategies.
